Good afternoon,
As I was driving along heading west via some silo art trails late last year, I visited the town of Bute [SA] a year or so after the steel silo had been painted - an EXCELLANT piece of art.
HOWEVER, after talking with staff at the local supermarket, they advised that the local council had "rushed" the artists who couldn't' prepare the silo surface before painting the artwork.
As a consequence, some of the artwork is beginning to peel which is a shame. Fortunately, the peeling is not very advance at this stage. Perhaps you have funding available for minor touch-up work.
As an aside, could I purchase a deck of cards please. In relation to my order [12 calendars], I have no need of the apps - so would settle for a deck or two.
Thanks
Norman
Always a pleasure to receive the new silo art calendar each year .
It’s still a joy each month to turn over the calendar to witness a remarkable collection of life in our communities, including both indigenous life , past and present settlement by our forefathers and through the wonder of art a glimpse into the lives that we witness as we traverse this wonderful country .
Every year since the first silo art calendar graced us , 2 or 3 go back to the uk and are always eagerly anticipated .
Like many I’ve taken a detour at preciously challenging times of day on the road to make sure each silo art work is witnessed , not just to take a photo and tick it off routine , but to savour our wide and diverse important regional communities
I buy this every year and the art work featured always brightens up my day.
Love, Love, Love these calendars. Thank you Australian Silo Art Trail for producing these beautiful Calendars.
I look forward to calendar each year. Beautiful photography on each month. My husband and myself have travelled around North West NSW and seen many amazing Silos.
